TTR TRANSFORMERS – dry type transformers with cast resin medium voltage windings, up to 25 MVA and up to 36 kV.
The SEA TTR transformers are dry transformers with englobed MV resin windings, which represent a valid alternative to the traditional oil immersed transformers. Since 1975, SEA has been designing and producing this type of transformers positioning itself as one of the leading firms in the sector due to construction solutions adopted, unification of details and to modern technologically advanced production facilities. SEA TTR transformers have been designed to satisfy our Customers’ needs, from the single user to the large industrial groups.
TTH TRANSFORMERS – dry transformers with air insulated medium voltage windings, up to 15 MVA and up to 36 kV. The percentage of insulation material in respect to the total weight of the transformer is really quite low; they should therefore be used as an alternative to the TTR resin transformers to subsequently reduce the smoke hazard in case of fire. Since 1975 SEA has been designing and producing this type of transformers so it can be considered between the leaders in this market share. Due to the special feature of the TTH Transformers (insulation is mainly based on atmospheric air) the TTH Transformers should not be installed in polluted or dusty environments. The standard catalogues cover up to 3150 kVA and 36 kV. Particularly convenient is the TTH solution when transformers are required with low voltage on both windings.
TTO TRANSFORMERS – distribution transformers immersed in insulating liquid, up to 3150 kVA and up to 6-20 kV. The SEA TTO transformers are immersed in insulating liquid. As they can be used outside within the most difficult industrial environments and their price is competitive, the SEA TTO Transformers represent the ideal solution for every industrial installation. They are available in the version with oil conservator or hermetic type with integral filling which requires less maintenance because the oil does not come in contact with the air. They are usually filled with PCB and PCT-free mineral oil. TTO transformers may also be requested with greater fire safety silicon oil filling IEC60836 or synthetic ester based. This fluid is biodegradable and non-hazardous, safe for use even in the most ecologically-sensitive areas. They have a flexible body with ondulated sheet enabling the oil to dilate during the normal thermal cycling of the transformer.
OTN TRANSFORMERS – power transformers immersed in insulating liquid for Networks, up to 5-75 MVA and up to 170 kV. It is wellknown that the transformer has to be adapted to the installation requirements in large industrial applications, not vice-versa. The electric parameters, and often dimensions as well, should be defined to respect various restrictions. SEA complies with such needs with the OTN, OTR and OTF oil transformers and thanks to its Engineering Department equipped with avantgarde design tools and a life long production experience it supplies the customer a machine fit for its needs.

REACTORS – Several industrial and electrical applications require the use of reactors.
The word “reactors” is quite generic, in fact its construction feature is strictly based on the type of reactor considered. SEA has designed a wide range of reactors fit for any kind of application required and they are available both in the threephase or singlephase version, dry version (with windings impregnated or inglobated with varnishes and resins, F or H class) or oil immersed.
